Job Description

Founded in 2024, ZMR Mobility aims to simplify EV adoption through flexible leasing, financing, after-sales support, and technology-driven fleet management solution. ZMR Mobility is building the Electric Mobility for Bharat by making EV ownership accessible, affordable, and reliable for gig workers, fleet operators, women riders, and lower-income communities. The company focuses on premium pre-owned electric vehicles integrated with IoT-enabled tracking and operational intelligence to improve vehicle uptime, safety, and optimum performance

We offer 360° solutions for preowned electric vehicles, IoT, including Sale, Lease, Rent and Refinance.

Sales & Business Development Intern

Mode: Customer visits (in and around Bangalore)

Duration: 3–6 months

Stipend: ₹8,000/month + Sales incentive + Travel reimbursement

 Company to provide e2W for travel based on performance

What you'll work on:

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads through field visits, referrals, digital channels and networking.
  • Meet potential customers, fleet operators, gig workers and women entrepreneurs to promote ZMR Mobility's EV solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify business opportunities and customer needs.
  • Support vehicle sales, rentals and subscription programs.
  • Build relationships with local delivery partners, logistics companies and corporate clients.
  • Assist in organizing promotional activities, roadshows and customer awareness campaigns.
  • Maintain customer records and sales pipelines using CRM tools and spreadsheets.
  • Follow up with prospects and convert leads into customers.
  • Gather customer feedback and provide market insights to management.
  • Support partnership development with EV charging, service and financing partners.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in Kannada is mandatory.
  • Basic knowledge of sales, marketing and customer relationship management.
  • Comfortable with field sales and customer interactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and presentation tools.
  • Passion for electric vehicles, sustainability and startups.

Preferred Qualities

  • Self-driven and target-oriented.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Willingness to travel within Bangalore for customer meetings and business development activities.
