Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Sales Intern at House of Polyglots. The Sales Intern will support lead generation, outreach, and follow-up with prospective learners across digital channels. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to inquiries, explaining course offerings, scheduling demos or trial classes, and guiding prospects through the enrollment process. The role involves maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, collaborating with trainers and marketing teams to align messaging, and providing timely updates on sales activities. The Sales Intern will also assist with customer feedback collection, basic reporting, and contributing ideas to improve the sales and onboarding experience.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and the ability to explain programs confidently.
  • Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, such as active listening, empathy, and professional handling of questions and concerns.
  • Candidates should possess Sales skills, including lead nurturing, persuasive pitching, and basic knowledge of sales funnels.
  • Candidates should possess Training and Sales Management awareness, such as understanding education-focused selling and supporting structured enrollment processes.
  • Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with EdTech or education services, comfort with remote work tools and CRMs, and a proactive, target-oriented mindset.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Interest in language learning or global education, and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, inclusive environment, is highly valued.
