Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Sales Intern to support our Skillsoft sales team. This internship offers hands-on experience in B2B sales, lead generation, client engagement, CRM management, and learning technology solutions. The intern will work closely with experienced sales professionals and gain exposure to the corporate L&D and HR technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential corporate clients across various industries.
  • Generate qualified leads through LinkedIn, email campaigns, cold calling, and online research.
  • Assist the sales team in scheduling meetings, product demonstrations, and follow-up calls.
  • Maintain and update prospect information in the CRM.
  • Prepare sales presentations, proposals, quotations, and other sales collateral.
  • Follow up with prospects regarding meetings, proposals, and documentation.
  • Support the team in managing pilot programs and customer onboarding activities.
  • Track sales activities and prepare weekly pipeline and activity reports.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely responses to customer queries.
  • Stay updated on Skillsoft products, digital learning trends, and competitor offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree (BBA, MBA, Marketing, Business Management, or related field).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities.
  • Comfortable speaking with corporate professionals over phone and email.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or CRM tools is an advantage.
  • Self-driven, eager to learn, and target-oriented.

  • Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
  • Interest in SaaS, EdTech, Learning & Development, or HR Technology.
