About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Sales Intern to support our Skillsoft sales team. This internship offers hands-on experience in B2B sales, lead generation, client engagement, CRM management, and learning technology solutions. The intern will work closely with experienced sales professionals and gain exposure to the corporate L&D and HR technology ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential corporate clients across various industries.
- Generate qualified leads through LinkedIn, email campaigns, cold calling, and online research.
- Assist the sales team in scheduling meetings, product demonstrations, and follow-up calls.
- Maintain and update prospect information in the CRM.
- Prepare sales presentations, proposals, quotations, and other sales collateral.
- Follow up with prospects regarding meetings, proposals, and documentation.
- Support the team in managing pilot programs and customer onboarding activities.
- Track sales activities and prepare weekly pipeline and activity reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely responses to customer queries.
- Stay updated on Skillsoft products, digital learning trends, and competitor offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree (BBA, MBA, Marketing, Business Management, or related field).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities.
- Comfortable speaking with corporate professionals over phone and email.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or CRM tools is an advantage.
- Self-driven, eager to learn, and target-oriented.
