The team works across leading AI platforms such as Claude, GPT, and Gemini, helping customers manage rate limits, downtime, latency issues, and edge cases. Applicants will join a growing company focused on practical AI infrastructure and shipping robust products.
Role Description This is an on-site internship role for a Sales Intern based in Ahmedabad. The Sales Intern will support the sales team in identifying and qualifying leads, conducting outreach to prospective customers, and scheduling product demos. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, preparing sales materials and presentations, and assisting in follow-ups after demos or meetings. The intern will collaborate with team members to understand DEFX's AI infrastructure offerings and communicate value to prospects. The role also involves learning from senior sales professionals, participating in internal training sessions, and contributing to process improvements.
Qualifications
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage prospects, handle inquiries, and build professional relationships.
  • Interest or foundational skills in Sales and Sales Management, with a desire to learn pipeline management and closing techniques.
  • Ability to participate in and benefit from Training, including product knowledge sessions and sales methodology workshops.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Comfort with technology and curiosity about AI, software products, and developer-focused tools.
  • Basic proficiency with productivity and CRM tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software; CRM experience is a plus).
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment on-site in Ahmedabad.
