Role Description

This is an on-site internship role based in Gurugram for a Sales Intern in AI Solutions. Daily responsibilities will include conducting market research, generating leads, engaging with prospects to communicate solution benefits, and supporting the sales team in developing and closing new business opportunities. The role also includes assisting with client presentations, providing customer support during the sales cycle, and participating in sales strategy sessions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation (Primary Responsibility)

  • Identify potential clients in Banking, Retail and Energy sectors in Australian & Gulf market
  • Build lead lists using LinkedIn, company websites, and databases
  • Maintain structured prospect lists in Google Sheets / CRM
  • Identify key stakeholders such as:
  • Chief Data Officer
  • CIO / CTO
  • Head of Digital
  • Head of Analytics

2. Prospect Research

Prepare short research briefs for target companies including:

  • AI or data initiatives
  • Technology stack

3. Sales Outreach Support

  • Draft LinkedIn outreach messages and email templates
  • Track responses and follow-ups
  • Maintain outreach tracker

4. Sales Operations Support

  • Maintain opportunity pipeline sheet
  • Help prepare account notes before client meetings
  • Track deal stages and next actions

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

  • Final year / recent graduate in:
  • BBA
  • MBA
  • Engineering
  • Economics / Commerce

Skills

  • Strong internet research skills
  • Good written business communication
  • Comfortable with LinkedIn prospecting
  • Working knowledge of Google Sheets / Excel
  • Interest in AI, Data, and Enterprise Technology

Bonus Skills (Not Mandatory)

  • Understanding of AI / Data analytics
  • Prior internship in sales, consulting or market research

Compensation Structure

Basic + Activity based Variable + Sales commission
