BCITS is a leading provider of utility-focused IT solutions including Smart Metering (AMI), MDM, Billing, GIS, and Digital Transformation platforms for power utilities. We work closely with DISCOMs, SEBs, and government bodies to modernize utility operations.

Role Overview

We are looking for a high-impact Sales Head-South to drive growth for BCITS utility digital transformation solutions across South India. This role will own revenue, pipeline, and P&L for the region, leveraging strong government relationships and utility domain expertise to win large-scale deals.

You will work closely with DISCOMs, SEBs, and government bodies to drive large-scale digital transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive regional revenue, pipeline, and P&L for South India
  • Define and execute go-to-market strategy for utility solutions
  • Drive solution-led selling (utility Domain and other Government sectors)
  • Build and leverage relationships with DISCOMs, SEBs, and government stakeholders
  • Lead end-to-end tendering (RFP/RFQ), bid strategy, and contract negotiations
  • Ensure accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management
  • Collaborating with pre-sales and delivery teams for successful execution
  • Leverage existing relationships within DISCOMs, SEBs, and government bodies to accelerate deal closures

Required Experience

  • 10–15 years in Sales/Business Development with strong B2G and Utility domain experience.
  • Proven track record of closing large government deals.

  • Strong network within South India utilities. Fluency in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam preferred.
