We are seeking a dynamic and target-driven Mutual Fund Sales Team Lead to drive mutual fund distribution, manage a team of sales professionals, and expand client acquisition across retail and HNI segments. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of investment products, proven sales leadership experience, and the ability to build long-term client relationships while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Sales Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of mutual fund sales executives/advisors.
- Set sales targets and monitor team performance against KPIs.
- Conduct regular sales reviews, coaching sessions, and field support.
- Drive productivity and ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
Business Development
- Acquire new clients through referrals, partnerships, and direct sales efforts.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase SIP and lump-sum investments.
- Build relationships with IFAs, distributors, corporate clients, and channel partners.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across wealth management products.
Client Relationship Management
- Provide investment guidance aligned with customer financial goals and risk profiles.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct investor awareness sessions and client engagement activities.
Market & Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on mutual fund products, market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity.
- Support the team with portfolio discussions and product positioning.
- Coordinate with AMCs for product updates, training, and promotional activities.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to SEBI, AMFI, and internal compliance guidelines.
- Maintain accurate sales records, MIS reports, and CRM updates.
- Monitor documentation and KYC compliance processes.
Experience Required
- 8 15 years of experience in mutual fund sales, wealth management, or financial services.
- Minimum 3–7 years of team handling experience.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing distribution networks.
