Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Head role based in Kochi. The Sales Head will lead and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for the Kochi property, focusing on room sales, banquets, MICE, corporate, and travel trade segments. The role involves developing and maintaining key client relationships, managing corporate accounts, and identifying new business opportunities in local and regional markets. The Sales Head will oversee the sales team, set performance goals, provide coaching, and ensure effective coordination with marketing, reservations, and operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include forecasting, budgeting, monitoring sales performance metrics, preparing sales reports, and representing the hotel at sales calls, events, and trade fairs.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales and Sales Management skills to drive revenue growth, develop sales plans, and achieve targets.
- Proven Account Management experience in building, nurturing, and expanding key corporate and travel trade relationships.
- Effective Team Management capabilities to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, forecast demand, and identify market opportunities and trends.
- Extensive experience in hotel or hospitality sales, ideally at a leadership level.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Kochi and travel locally or regionally as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office, and standard hotel sales systems is preferred.
