About the Role:

Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Flavour Sales Head to lead sales operations pan-India This is a strategic leadership role where you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, and strengthening our position as a market leader in the B2B food ingredients and flavours segment. You will lead a high-performing team of 4-6 sales professionals, build lasting relationships with key stakeholders, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Design and implement innovative sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets across India.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 4-6 sales representatives, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers at major food manufacturers, processors, and industry leaders.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to grow our customer base and market share in the B2B food ingredients and flavours sector.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, monitor competitor activities, and gather customer insights to inform sales strategies and product development.
  • Client Engagement: Conduct impactful sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations to win new business and retain existing clients.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and market demands.
  • Performance Tracking: Ensure accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and timely reporting of sales activities and results.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in B2B sales, specifically in selling flavours, food ingredients, or related products.
  • Strong network and established relationships with key decision-makers in the food manufacturing industry across India.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of managing and motivating sales teams to achieve targets.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across India to meet clients and drive business growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in managing and scaling sales teams in the food ingredients or flavours industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Indian market, including regional preferences, trends, and dynamics.
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the food manufacturing sector.
