Role Description The Sales Head is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Bhubaneswar. This position is responsible for driving overall sales growth, defining sales strategies, and managing key accounts across restaurant and food business segments. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting sales targets, overseeing the sales pipeline, coaching and mentoring the sales team, and ensuring effective territory and account coverage. The role involves building strong client relationships, negotiating contracts, monitoring market trends and competitor activities, and collaborating closely with operations and marketing to align offerings with customer needs. The Sales Head will also track performance metrics, prepare regular sales reports, and contribute to pricing and go-to-market decisions to support sustainable business growth.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales and Sales Management skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience in Account Management, including building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Demonstrated Team Management capabilities, including leading, motivating, and developing sales teams.
- Robust Analytical Skills for forecasting, performance tracking, and data-driven decision-making.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in food supply, logistics, hospitality, or related sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Bhubaneswar and travel locally for client meetings as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.
- Comfort with using CRM tools and basic proficiency in MS Office or similar productivity software.
