Position Overview
The Sales Head Cabling & AV (India) will lead the national business for Structured Cabling, AV Integration, Collaboration Rooms, Smart Workspaces & Physical Infrastructure Solutions. The role is responsible for scaling revenues, strengthening OEM partnerships, and driving enterprise and commercial market penetration across India. This position is based out of Bangalore and reports directly to the National Sales Head.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
-Develop and execute Pan-India growth strategy for Cabling, AV & Workspace Transformation.
-Lead and mentor regional sales teams, set revenue targets, and drive performance reviews.
-Build a strong national presence across enterprise, commercial real estate, and data center markets.
-Ensure strong funnel health, forecasting accuracy, and YoY revenue growth.
2. Business Development
-Identify and penetrate high-potential segments: IT/ITES parks, BFSI, Manufacturing, Pharma, Retail, Data Centers, Co-working, Education & Large Campuses.
-Build senior-level relationships with Admin, Real Estate, IT Infra, Projects, and Procurement heads.
-Drive multi-site rollout projects and large turnkey opportunities.
3. OEM & Channel Ecosystem Management
-Maintain deep partnerships with Cabling OEMs: CommScope, Panduit, Molex, R&M, Belden, Legrand, Schneider Actassi, Nexans, D-Link.
-Grow alliances with AV OEMs: Crestron, QSC, Biamp, Samsung, LG, Barco, Poly, Logitech.
-Run OEM-backed sales plays, incentive programs, and joint GTM campaigns.
-Manage distributors, PMCs, real estate consultants, and AV/cabling contractors.
4. Solutioning & Pre-Sales Collaboration
-Work with Pre-Sales to design structured cabling, AV integration, displays, LED walls, and workspace automation solutions.
-Lead tender participation, BOQ reviews, value engineering, and commercial proposals.
5. Financial, Operational & Governance Oversight
-Own the P&L for the Cabling & AV vertical.
-Drive pricing discipline, margin improvement, and collection hygiene.
-Review weekly pipeline, ensure accurate forecasting, and streamline sales operations.
6. Team Building & Capability Development
-Recruit and develop high-performing regional sales teams.
-Conduct regular training on cabling standards (BICSI), AV technologies, and competitive landscape.
-Foster a culture of consultative selling, customer obsession, and accountability.
Key Skills & Experience Required
-1018 years in Cabling, AV, Workspace Technology, or Physical Infrastructure Systems.
-Strong network with OEMs, PMCs, General Contractors, RE developers, and enterprise customers.
-Deep knowledge of structured cabling standards & AV technologies.
-Strong commercial negotiation and deal-structuring skills.
-Excellent communication and leadership qualities.

Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology/Business preferred.
- BICSI, CTS, or OEM certifications are added advantages.
