Marketing & Sales Manager


Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective (business area/division/product group) sales strategy within the specified market scope (global/regional) and maintain it, to improve ABB's market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and/or services to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Sales organization (other sales managers and sales specialists within scope) to achieve the sales targets, through high performance.

This role is contributing to the Motion business based at Pune and Ahmedabad , India:

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Anticipating and identifying the shortfalls in performance and takes appropriate remedial actions, proactively.

  • To drive the growth of Servo Drive & Motor sales across untapped PAN India markets by developing strong Channel Partner, OEM, and System Integrator networks.Focus to ensure strategic support to Automation FESacross PAN India.

  • Identifying and evaluating new opportunities with existing and potential customers, determines plans for implementation, and allocates required resources

  • To Primary focus onOEMs throughChannel Partners /OEMs/System IntegratorsMarket.

  • Look for new customer, opportunity untapped by ABB.

  • Achieve the order target month on month and collect the overdue in time.

  • Develop new channel partner to address the untapped distribution business inCluster.

  • Work together with market manager, product sales managers forbusiness growth.

  • Prepare business plan for each focused market focused on activity.

  • Drive business growth withCP/OEM/SI'swith proper business planning & intime support.

  • Continuously gain knowledge on new applications to present ABB product advantages better




Qualifications for the role
  • Full time BE or B.Tech Electrical and Electronics
  • Year of Experience 10+ Years
  • Servo Systems: In-depth understanding of servo motors, drives, PLCs, motion controllers, VFDs and related electromechanical systems, Distribution Market
  • Aggressive and result oriented, should know to sell volumes and values.
  • Effective Communication: Strong ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Do inhouse sales seminars with strong value proposition.
  • Work closely with theCP/OEM/SI'sand share success stories.
