Role Intent

This is not a sales-closing role.

This role exists to build the operational backbone of sales the systems, data, and processes that allow revenue to scale sustainably.

You will work closely with founders and senior leaders, not as an observer, but as a builder of how sales actually work inside the company.

Over time, this role is expected to grow into a Sales Operations Lead position, supporting multiple revenue owners and shaping how decisions are made.

Core Responsibilities (Today)

1. Sales Operations & Systems

  • Own and maintain the sales CRM (Zoho) across all channels
  • Ensure data discipline: pipeline hygiene, stage definitions, reporting accuracy
    • Design and document sales workflows for:
    • D2C
    • B2B
    • Events
    • Partnerships
  • Build dashboards and reports that make sales performance visible and actionable

    2. Revenue Enablement
  • Support sales follow-ups, customer communication, and coordination
  • Work closely with founders and Sales Lead to remove friction from the sales process
  • Ensure smooth handoffs between sales, operations, and production teams

3. D2C & Experimentation

  • Execute and analyse D2C initiatives (WhatsApp marketing, repeat purchase programs, campaigns)
  • Track experiments, interpret results, and recommend improvements
  • Build learnings into repeatable processes

4. Documentation & Knowledge Building

  • Create SOPs, playbooks, and internal documentation
  • Ensure learnings are captured, not lost
  • Contribute to cross-functional process improvement discussions

5. AI & Modern Tools (Non-Negotiable)

    • Use AI tools (ChatGPT, automation tools, analytics tools) to:
    • Improve productivity
    • Analyse data
  • Structure documentation and communication
  • Stay curious and proactive about new tools and workflows

  • Evolve into Sales Operations Lead
  • Support multiple revenue owners across channels
  • Provide strategic sales insights to founders and leadership
  • Influence forecasting, capacity planning, and channel prioritisation
  • Potentially mentor or guide junior operations resources

This is a long-term capability role, not a stepping stone.
