Role Overview: We are seeking a Salesforce Data Cloud Engineer to deliver Customer 360 capabilities enabling omnichannel personalization and customer journey orchestration using Salesforce Data Cloud. This is a hands-on delivery role combining platform configuration, identity resolution engineering, audience creation, and activation to operationalize real-time customer engagement across channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Cloud Implementation & Configuration: Configure Data Cloud data streams, ingestion pipelines, and data mappings.
- Implement Data Model Objects (DMOs) and harmonized customer schemas. Integrate customer data across CRM, ecommerce, marketing, loyalty, POS, and digital channels.
- Configure calculated insights and behavioral attributes supporting personalization. Identity Resolution Engineering Configure and optimize identity resolution rulesets.
- Define and tune match & merge rules across multiple identifiers. Apply identity resolution filters, reconciliation logic, and survivorship rules.
- Monitor profile unification quality and resolve duplication or over-merging issues.
- Audience Creation & Data Activation: Build reusable audience segments using filters, behavioral signals, and calculated insights.
- Enable activation of audiences into marketing, personalization, and engagement platforms.
- Support real-time and batch activation use cases.
- Omnichannel Personalization & Journey Enablement: Enable unified customer profiles powering cross-channel personalization.
- Support event-driven engagement and lifecycle journey orchestration. Translate customer journey requirements into executable Data Cloud audiences and triggers.
- Collaborate with marketing and CX teams to operationalize personalization strategies. Client Delivery Work with architects and client stakeholders during implementation.
- Support solution design discussions while owning configuration execution. Participate in testing, deployment, and production stabilization.
- Required Experience: 5–6 years in Salesforce, CDP, Martech, or Data Engineering implementations.
- Hands-on experience in Salesforce Data Cloud configuration.
- Practical experience in: Identity resolution and profile unification Match/merge rule tuning Audience segmentation and activation Personalization or customer journey enablement Strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals.
- Experience integrating enterprise data sources across marketing and commerce ecosystems.
- Exposure to client-facing consulting or delivery environments.
- Preferred Retail or omnichannel commerce experience.
- Exposure to personalization, lifecycle marketing, or journey orchestration platforms.
- Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Salesforce certifications related to Data Cloud or Marketing technologies.
