Job Title: Salesforce Architect

Location

Key Responsibilities

As a Salesforce Architect, you will:

  • Solution Design & Development: Lead the design and development of customized solutions within the Salesforce platform, using both configuration and development (Apex & Lightning Components) to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements, and company goals.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide advanced knowledge of architecture, design, and business processes for the Salesforce CRM platform. Guide technical decisions and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • API & Integration: Develop and implement integrations using Salesforce Lightning Connect to call external APIs, and lead the development of REST APIs for seamless data exchange.
  • Platform Enhancement: Drive enhancements to the Salesforce Service Cloud, especially in multi-org structures, utilizing both declarative and programmatic approaches.
  • Application Lifecycle Management: Apply solid application design, coding, testing, maintenance, and debugging skills throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in an Agile environment.
  • Business Support: Provide ongoing business support to users for the CRM platform.
  • Architecture Evolution: Possess expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines to align changes to the CRM platform with overall business and technical strategies.
  • Modern Technologies: Stay familiar with modern technology and architecture concepts such as cloud, virtualization, and object stores.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Technical Proficiency:

  • Salesforce Platform: Strong 8+ years of experience with Salesforce CRM platform.
  • Apex: Hands-on experience with the Apex programming language.
  • Lightning: Solid understanding of building Salesforce Lightning UI and LWC (Lightning Web Components).
  • Integrations: Solid understanding of Salesforce Lightning Connect to call external APIs.
  • API Development: Proven experience in development of REST APIs.
  • Service Cloud: Strong experience with Salesforce Service Cloud implementations, especially in a multi-org structure.
  • Architectural Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of Salesforce architecture, design, and business processes.
  • SDLC & Agile: Extensive Software Engineering work experience in an Agile / SDLC environment.

Certifications (Highly Desired):

  • Platform Developer I Certification
  • Platform Developer II Certification

Essential Professional Skills

  • Communication & Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.
  • Problem-Solving: Solid software design, coding, testing, maintenance, and debugging skills.
  • Business Acumen: An understanding of the sales process to better align changes to the CRM platform.
