We are looking for a highly motivated, resilient, and growth-oriented Field Sales Trainee to join our expanding B2B LED business. If you love being on the move, building relationships from scratch, and thrive on the challenge of cold-canvassing and hunting for new accounts, this role is for you.
As a Field Sales Trainee, you will focus on acquiring new contacts and pitching our commercial/industrial LED solutions directly to Architects, Interior Designers, Project Managers, and Contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Mapping: Actively scout commercial areas, construction sites, and design hubs to identify and map new business opportunities.
- Stakeholder Network Building: Cold-call and walk-in to meet Architects, Contractors, and Project Consultants to introduce our product portfolio.
- On-Field Client Acquisition: Convert cold contacts into active leads by scheduling meetings and delivering product demonstrations.
- Relationship Management: Maintain consistent follow-ups with newly acquired contacts to secure product specifications in their upcoming projects.
- Market Intelligence: Track ongoing and upcoming real estate, commercial, and residential projects in your assigned territory.
Required Qualifications & Background
- Education: Graduate in any stream (BBA, B.Com, B.Sc) or an MBA/PGDM in Marketing/Business Development (Freshers are highly encouraged to apply).
- Mindset: A strong hustle mentality with a passion for field sales and door-to-door B2B networking.
- Travel: Must own a two-wheeler and have a valid driving license for daily local field travel.
Key Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (ability to talk to senior architects and ground-level contractors alike).
- Strong rejection handling and persistence.
- Basic understanding of commercial lighting or the building materials industry is a plus, though not mandatory.
