ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for energetic, articulate, and empathetic individuals to join our team as Sales Executives. This is a service-based consultative sales role — not a product-pushing position. You will be speaking with parents and students, understanding their aspirations and concerns about studying abroad, and guiding them toward enrolling with UniRely for their overseas education journey.

Think of this role as a trusted education advisor who happens to drive business growth. Success here is measured not by hard-selling a product, but by building trust, understanding family needs, and presenting UniRely's services as a genuine solution to their study abroad goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Outbound Outreach & Lead Generation

  • Conduct structured cold calls to parents and students to introduce UniRely's study abroad counselling services
  • Generate and qualify leads through outbound calling, networking, social media outreach, and referral programs
  • Follow up consistently on warm leads and convert inquiries into booked consultation appointments
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly outreach and conversion targets

Consultative Engagement with Families

  • Listen actively to understand each family's academic aspirations, budget considerations, preferred countries, and concerns about studying abroad
  • Position UniRely's services as a tailored solution — not a one-size-fits-all package — addressing specific needs around admissions, scholarships, test prep, and mentorship
  • Build trust and rapport over multiple interactions; nurture relationships through the decision-making cycle (which can span weeks or months)
  • Handle objections with empathy, provide transparent information, and address concerns about cost, safety, and outcomes

Client Interaction & Relationship Management

  • Manage client interactions over phone calls, video meetings (Zoom/Google Meet), and in-person walk-ins
  • Coordinate with the counselling and mentorship team to ensure smooth handoffs after enrollment
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all interactions, follow-ups, and pipeline status in the CRM system
  • Collect and relay client feedback to internal teams for continuous service improvement

Business Development Support

  • Assist in preparing client-facing presentations, proposals, and informational materials about UniRely's offerings
  • Shadow senior team members during initial weeks to learn consultative selling techniques specific to the education services industry
  • Stay updated on study abroad trends, university admission cycles, visa processes, and scholarship opportunities to have informed conversations with families
  • Represent UniRely at educational fairs, school events, webinars, and community outreach sessions when required

At UniRely, you are not selling a physical product off a shelf. You are selling trust, expertise, and a life-changing outcome. Every family you speak with has unique goals, and your job is to listen first, advise second, and sell naturally. Success in this role comes from genuine conversations, not scripted pitches.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Freshers welcome — candidates with 0 to 3 years of experience in any client-facing or sales role
  • Undergraduate and graduate students or degree holders from any discipline can apply
  • Strong verbal communication skills in English and Hindi (additional languages are a plus)
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging strangers in conversation
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn CRM software

PREFERRED PROFILE

  • Presentable candidates with a professional and confident demeanour
  • Comfortable with cold calling and client-facing interactions, including video calls with parents and students
  • Experience in the education industry, overseas education consulting, EdTech, or any service-based company is an added advantage
  • Candidates with leadership experience — student clubs, university societies, event management, or campus ambassador roles — will be given preference
  • Strong networking instinct and people-handling skills; naturally persuasive without being pushy
  • A genuine interest in international education, student mentorship, or career counselling
