Sales Executive - Short Haul Travel Packages

Experience: 1-3 years (Travel & Tourism / Hospitality / Holiday Packages preferred)

About The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-oriented Sales Executive to join our Travel & Tourism team. The role focuses on selling short-haul travel packages (destinations within approximately 5 hours of flying time), creating memorable holiday experiences for customers, and driving revenue growth through effective sales and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries through calls, emails, and online platforms for holiday packages and travel experiences
  • Understand customer travel requirements, preferences, budget, and recommend suitable destinations and packages
  • Sell short-haul international and domestic travel packages, flights, hotels, activities, and customized itineraries
  • Generate leads, follow up with prospective customers, and convert inquiries into bookings
  • Build strong customer relationships and ensure a smooth booking experience
  • Coordinate with operations, vendors, airlines, and hotels to provide accurate information and seamless travel arrangements
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute towards business growth
  • Maintain customer records and update CRM systems regularly
  • Stay updated on travel trends, destinations, visa requirements, and seasonal offers

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in travel sales, tourism, hospitality, or holiday package sales
  • Strong communication and convincing skills
  • Customer-focused approach with excellent relationship-building abilities
  • Good knowledge of travel destinations, packages, airlines, and tourism products
  • Ability to handle multiple customer conversations and manage sales pipelines
  • Target-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving sales goals
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools preferred

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience selling international holiday packages will be an advantage
  • Energetic, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment
