Sales Executive - Short Haul Travel Packages

About The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-oriented Sales Executive to join our Travel & Tourism team. The role focuses on selling short-haul travel packages (destinations within approximately 5 hours of flying time), creating memorable holiday experiences for customers, and driving revenue growth through effective sales and customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries through calls, emails, and online platforms for holiday packages and travel experiences
- Understand customer travel requirements, preferences, budget, and recommend suitable destinations and packages
- Sell short-haul international and domestic travel packages, flights, hotels, activities, and customized itineraries
- Generate leads, follow up with prospective customers, and convert inquiries into bookings
- Build strong customer relationships and ensure a smooth booking experience
- Coordinate with operations, vendors, airlines, and hotels to provide accurate information and seamless travel arrangements
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute towards business growth
- Maintain customer records and update CRM systems regularly
- Stay updated on travel trends, destinations, visa requirements, and seasonal offers
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in travel sales, tourism, hospitality, or holiday package sales
- Strong communication and convincing skills
- Customer-focused approach with excellent relationship-building abilities
- Good knowledge of travel destinations, packages, airlines, and tourism products
- Ability to handle multiple customer conversations and manage sales pipelines
- Target-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving sales goals
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools preferred
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Previous experience selling international holiday packages will be an advantage
- Energetic, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment
