Job Description

Job Title: Head – Sales / Business Development

Department: Sales

Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer

Location: Faridabad(6days work from office)

Overview of the position:

The Sales Head will be responsible for driving revenue growth, client acquisition, and strategic partnerships across key segments such as retail (especially jewellery, fashion), commercial, and corporate interiors. The role demands strong leadership, pipeline management, and the ability to convert high-value design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Revenue & Business Growth

2) Own and deliver annual sales targets (topline)

3) Build a strong sales pipeline (3–5x of target)

4) Drive closures for large turnkey interior projects

5) Identify and penetrate high-value segments (luxury retail, chains, corporates)

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

Develop relationships with:

1) Brand owners, CXOs, retail heads

2) Architects, consultants, mall developers

3) Ensure repeat business & long-term contracts

Sales Strategy & Market Expansion:

1) Define go-to-market strategy for new geographies and segments

Build partnerships with retail chains (jewellery, apparel) Franchise networks (FOCO / FOFO models), track market trends, competition & pricing benchmarks

Team Leadership & Performance:

1) Build, lead and mentor high-performing sales teams

2) Set KRAs, KPIs, and incentive structures

3) Drive a culture of accountability and conversion focus

1. Proposal & Pitch Management:

1) Oversee client presentations, design pitches & costing strategy

2) Work closely with design team (concept alignment) & Projects team (execution feasibility)

3) Ensure high win-rate on proposals

1. Sales Process & Governance

* Establish structured sales funnel (Lead → Proposal → Closure)

* Monitor conversion ratios, & deal profitability

* Implement CRM tools and reporting dashboards

Collections & Commercial Discipline:

1) Ensure timely collections & payment milestones

2) Negotiate contracts with strong commercial terms

3) Maintain project-level profitability

Experience

1) 5-7 years in sales/business development

2) Preferably from interior design / fit-outs, retail rollout companies architecture or turnkey contracting firms

Skills & Competencies:

1) Strong network in retail/jewellery/fashion brands

2) Proven ability to close high-ticket deals (₹50L–₹5Cr+)

3) Excellent negotiation & presentation skills

4) Strategic thinking + execution focus

5) Leadership and team-building capability

Education:

MBA (Sales/Marketing) preferred

Compensation Structure:

1) Fixed Salary plus target based incentives.
