Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Sales Executive / Senior Sales Executive to drive sales growth within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in influencer management, retailer and distributor handling, and territory sales execution.
The role involves generating demand through site visits, building strong relationships with contractors, carpenters, architects, interior designers, and builders, and driving tertiary sales. The candidate will also manage secondary sales through retail networks to ensure sustained primary sales volumes in the territory.
The position requires strong communication, negotiation, and execution skills with a results-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Influencer Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, interior designers, architects, builders, and other key influencers in the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular meetings and engagement activities in line with company guidelines to drive tertiary sales.
- Expand and strengthen the influencer network to enhance brand visibility and product preference.
- Retailer, Dealer & Distributor Management
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with retailers, dealers, and distributors.
- Ensure product availability, efficient service levels, and sales growth across the territory.
- Monitor order placements, stock levels, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Primary & Secondary Sales Management
- Achieve primary sales targets by driving orders from dealers and distributors.
- Ensure strong secondary sales by enabling product movement at the retail level.
- Track, analyze, and report sales performance and market trends in the territory.
- Site Visits & Lead Conversion
- Conduct regular site visits to understand project requirements and offer appropriate solutions.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure and after-sales service.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Market & Customer Engagement
- Identify new business opportunities through market research, cold calling, and networking.
- Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Support strategic planning with on-ground market insights.
- Negotiation & Relationship Management
- Effectively negotiate and close sales to meet volume and revenue targets.
- Maintain strong professional relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Ensure consistent territory productivity and performance.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
- Experience working with architects, contractors, builders, and dealer/distributor networks.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
