About the Role

This Sales Executive role supports AMTEX and BLECH India by driving domestic sales and working closely with global teams. You will develop customer relationships, identify commercial opportunities, and maintain an accurate sales pipeline to help achieve the events strategic and financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to support and exceed revenue targets across all revenue lines, with a focus on face-to-face and digital opportunities for each client.
• Sell exhibition space for AMTEX and BLECH India to help achieve strategic and financial targets.
• Stay informed about developments within the exhibition industry, including sales innovations.
• Ensure essential customer information and interactions are recorded accurately in Salesforce, and maintain a robust pipeline that supports reliable reporting to key stakeholders.
• Research and visit competitor exhibitions to identify new ideas and market practices.
• Contribute to the preparation and development of sales promotional materials to encourage visitor engagement.
• Engage with government trade bodies in existing and potential new markets to attract exhibitors.
• Coordinate with Operations and Marketing teams to help ensure the exhibition is delivered to a high standard.
• Develop new sales initiatives to support customer retention and acquisition.

Requirements

• Demonstrate relevant experience in B2B space sales; experience in exhibitions, manufacturing, machinery, or a related industry is helpful.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly.
• Be willing and able to travel within India or the assigned territory, as required for the role.
• Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business.
• Apply effective networking and negotiation skills.
• Use strategic thinking and a solution-focused approach to address customer and business needs.
