Position Overview
The Sales Executive Renewables will drive business growth by generating leads, managing client
relationships, and closing renewable energy projects. The role requires technical understanding of
renewable energy products, excellent negotiation skills, and a results-driven mindset to achieve sales
targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector (solar,
wind, etc.).
- Generate leads through market research, networking, and client outreach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, EPC contractors, and distributors.
- Sales Management & Revenue Generation
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and presentations.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with clients.
- Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Project Coordination
- Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure project feasibility and
delivery timelines.
- Provide clients with project updates, technical clarifications, and after-sales support.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Track competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and CRM data.
- Provide management with actionable insights for strategic planning.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Address client queries and complaints promptly.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct periodic follow-ups to expand business opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Renewable Energy. MBA preferred.
- 25 years of sales experience in renewable energy, solar, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy products and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and sales reporting.
