The Role
- We're hiring our first Sales Executive, a field-first role where you'll be the face of 1Fi at partner stores across Gurugram.
- You'll do two things really well: get merchants excited about 1Fi and get customers to use it when they're ready to buy.
- This is a ground-floor opportunity. The playbook doesn't fully exist yet; you'll help write it.
What You'll Do
- Identify and onboard consumer electronics and durables stores onto the 1Fi platform
- Be present at partner stores during peak hours to assist customers in availing 1Fi's pledge-based finance for their purchases
- Explain the product clearly to customers and guide them through the onboarding flow
- Build lasting relationships with store owners and floor managers to ensure 1Fi remains the preferred finance option at the counter
- Relay ground-level insights on customer objections, merchant needs, and competitor activity back to the founding team
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of field sales experience, ideally in fintech, BFSI, consumer finance, or retail
- Comfortable working in a store environment and engaging directly with walk-in customers
- Strong communication skills in Hindi and English
- Self-starter who can manage their own schedule without hand-holding
- Basic comfort with digital apps and onboarding flows (you'll be guiding customers through ours)
- Prior experience in merchant acquisition or B2B2C roles is a plus
