Company Description EyeMantra Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to eliminating preventable blindness and expanding access to quality eye care for underserved communities in India. Since 2013, the organization has delivered sight-restoring surgeries, eyeglasses, medications, and diagnostic services to more than 40 million people, particularly in rural and low-income areas. EyeMantra focuses on vulnerable groups such as children, older adults, and women through outreach camps, school screening programs, and permanent vision centers. Its model combines community-based engagement with advanced medical care and a strong network of partner hospitals, vision technicians, and volunteer doctors. The Foundation aims to build sustainable eye care ecosystems so that no one loses vision due to poverty or geographic barriers.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive–Patient Care Specialist role based in New Delhi. The person in this role will engage directly with patients and their families, explaining available eye care services, treatment options, and program benefits in a clear and empathetic manner. They will manage incoming inquiries, counsel patients on surgery packages and financial assistance schemes, and support the registration and follow-up process. The Sales Executive–Patient Care Specialist will also be responsible for converting leads from outreach camps and vision centers, maintaining accurate patient and sales records, and coordinating with clinical and administrative teams to ensure a smooth patient journey. In addition, the role involves meeting outreach and revenue targets, preparing basic reports, and representing EyeMantra's mission with professionalism and compassion.
Qualifications
  • Patient counseling and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate complex medical information in simple, reassuring language.
  • Sales, lead conversion, and basic negotiation abilities, preferably in healthcare, diagnostics, or patient services.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills, including maintaining accurate records, handling follow-ups, and preparing simple reports.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi; additional regional languages are an advantage.
  • Empathy and customer service orientation, with a commitment to serving vulnerable and low-income communities in a respectful, non-judgmental manner.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical or outreach environment, collaborating with doctors, technicians, and administrative staff.
  • Basic computer literacy (e.g., MS Office, web-based patient management tools) and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Prior experience in hospital front office, patient coordination, telesales, or community health programs is preferred.
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in any discipline; coursework in healthcare, social work, business, or related fields is a plus.
