Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive Domestic Sales to support growth and manage customer relationships for our Masterbatch business.

The ideal candidate should have Knowledge/experience in sales within masterbatch, plastics, or specialty chemicals, and be comfortable handling both direct customers and distributor-driven markets.

This role requires strong market understanding, relationship-building skills, and the ability to execute sales strategies effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market & Competitor Understanding

  • Identify customer needs and monitor market trends within assigned regions.
  • Track competitor offerings and share insights to support product positioning.

2. Sales & Product Support

  • Achieve sales targets through effective territory management.
  • Support product and technical teams to meet customer requirements.
  • Maintain product mix, volume, and pricing as per business goals.

3. Sales Planning & Execution

  • Execute territory-wise sales plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Support key initiatives to drive market penetration and business growth.

4. Customer Relationship Management

  • Engage with customers regularly to understand requirements and resolve concerns.
  • Build long-term relationships to drive repeat business and cross-selling opportunities.

5. Reporting & CRM Management

  • Maintain sales reports (daily/weekly/monthly) and update activities in CRM (Zoho preferred).
  • Provide market intelligence, forecasting inputs, and timely updates to the zonal team.

6. Channel Sales Support

  • Work with distributors to ensure adequate support, coordination, and sales enablement.
  • Assist in assessing distributor performance and maintaining strong channel alignment.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience

  • 0-2 years of sales experience in Masterbatch, Plastics, or Specialty Chemicals industry.
  • Exposure to handling direct customers and/or distributors is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools for lead management and reporting.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering or related fields.
  • MBA is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of polymer applications and masterbatch usage across industries.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with ability to handle field sales and a diverse customer base.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
