Job Description

  • Contact appropriate departments (e.g., Sales, Data Admin, Accounting) to resolve guest issues or requests
  • Use sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty (e.g., upselling)
  • Determine and offer complimentary items as guest appreciation (e.g., points, show tickets)
  • Promote brand image both internally and externally
  • Process Marriott Rewards redemption requests
  • Handle all reservation-related activities via phone, fax, or mail (requests, changes, cancellations)
  • Enter Marriott Rewards details accurately during reservation process
  • Answer, record, and resolve guest calls, questions, or concerns professionally
  • Perform general office tasks to support Sales & Marketing (e.g., filing, emailing, faxing)
  • Team Leadership & Support:
  • Assist in training and motivating employees
  • Serve as a role model in conduct and professionalism
  • Monitor performance of others for adherence to standards
  • Guest Interaction & Communication:
  • Greet and acknowledge guests per company standards
  • Anticipate and fulfill guest needs
  • Thank guests sincerely for their patronage
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in speech and writing
  • Handle telephonic interactions with proper etiquette
  • Teamwork & Professionalism:
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance
  • Uphold confidentiality and protect company assets
  • Develop positive work relationships and support team goals
  • Listen actively and address team members concerns
  • Other Duties:
  • Verify information across various formats
  • Move and handle objects up to 10 lbs without assistance
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors
