Role Description

We are seeking a Sales Executive Automation (DCS & Instrumentation) for a full-time, on-site & travel role. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales and business development for automation solutions, including DCS, PLC, SCADA, field instrumentation, and system integration services.

The role involves identifying and developing relationships with end users, EPCs, and OEMs, understanding customer requirements, and presenting technically sound and commercially viable solutions. The Sales Executive will prepare and execute account-specific sales plans, manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure, and contribute to achieving annual sales targets.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining and growing existing accounts, responding to RFQs and technical-commercial inquiries, tracking market and competitor activity, and coordinating closely with engineering, proposals, and project teams to deliver customized automation solutions and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 34 years of proven sales experience in industrial automation, specifically in DCS, PLC, SCADA, and instrumentation systems
  • Strong understanding of process industries such as F&B, Sugar, Distilleries, Power, Oil & Gas, Cement, Metals, Chemicals, or similar sectors
  • Demonstrated ability in B2B sales, key account management, and business development
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience handling RFQs, techno-commercial discussions, negotiations, and closures
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, proposals, and project execution teams
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently in a field-sales environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics) or Business/Management is required
  • Prior experience in ABB / Honeywell / Siemens / Emerson / Yokogawa ecosystems is preferred.
