Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Sales Executive – Government Projects to drive project-based business development across Andhra Pradesh. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in institutional and project sales, extensive industry connections, and the ability to independently manage the complete project sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
·Identify, develop, and convert project sales opportunities across the region
·Build and maintain strong relationships with major contractors, infrastructure companies, PMCs, consultants, and government departments
·Manage project leads from initiation to successful closure
·Conduct regular client visits, project site inspections, and review meetings
·Develop regional sales strategies and deliver revenue targets
·Prepare proposals, estimates, and sales forecasts
·Coordinate closely with technical, supply chain, and finance departments
·Ensure timely billing, documentation, and collections
·Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify growth opportunities
·Mentor and support junior sales team members (if applicable)
·Adhere to company policies, reporting systems, and compliance standards
Skills & Qualifications:
·Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Business/Marketing (MBA preferred)
·Minimum 2+ years of experience in institutional/project sales in the construction/building materials industry
·Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills
·Proven track record managing high-value projects and long-cycle sales
·Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
