Job Description

  • Responsible for individual and group sales within the government, and corporate sectors (GeM, NSIC MES AAI PWD TCIL)
  • The incumbent would be responsible for managing the entire gamut of sales operations of the assigned Govt. accounts thereby achieving the sales target
  • Understands buying process cycle in government (State, Central Ministries & PSU) and should be well known with the dynamics of Government sector.
  • Responsible for creating a compelling value proposition in government segment
  • Create, Manage Optimise product listings on GeM
  • Analyse product listing sales trends.
  • Prepare all tender documents in the specific formats related to the bid submit the documents in stipulated time limits .
  • Coordinate with the respective officials and document the progress of the tender
  • Handling a high volume of customer enquiries floated under the GEM portal and on the other government websites .
  • Acting as contact points for all Government agency or organisational personnel.
  • Keeping lists of the Government agencies or personnel representing the person, agency, or organisation.
  • Updating Product Pricing on a timely basis.
  • Visit government prospects clients for sales.
  • Manage incidents (if any) as per GeM guidelines.
  • Discuss with the management team to decide upon the opportunities.
  • Handle MIS reporting documentation on daily basis.
  • Update Project Execution on a daily basis & Report to a HOD.
  • Submission of proposals in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes.
  • Deletion or Updating of New product /Specification/prices.

Skills, Qualifications Experience

  • Graduate
  • Good at Internet surfing
  • Ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook
  • Good communication presentation skills
  • At least 1 year of experience at handling GeM Portal
  • Good knowledge of Government Tender Online & Offline Filling. Should have the knowledge of submission of Bids like Bunch Bid, Reverse Bid, Custom Bid and Normal Bid.
