Job Description
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
. Analyze complex government or private operator tender inquiries and translate them into technical specifications for Engineering and R&D teams.
. Assist in the compilation of technical specs, drawings, and compliance checklists for bus tender submissions.
. Work closely with HQ Engineers to understand technical updates and relay them to the local team to ensure the proposed bus features meet the client's requirements.
. Prepare project progress reports and maintain databases for tender tracking and sales leads.
. Assist in the planning and allocating resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle.
. Act as a point of contact for internal departments and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
. Assist project team to prepare and submit necessary paperwork for vehicle homologation and type-approval to ensure all buses are road-legal.
. Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activity, and industry benchmarks. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management to inform business development strategy.
. Develop and maintain a centralized repository of bid templates, past project references, standard documentation, and best practices to continuously improve the efficiency and quality of the tender process.
. Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Management to support business growth.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Automotive preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination, technical sales, or the automotive industry.
- Proven track record in tender management and familiarity with local bus vendors/operators.
- Deep interest and experience in Electric Vehicles (EV), battery health systems, and charging infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English (verbal and written) is essential to liaise effectively with China HQ colleagues and local stakeholders.
