Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and field-oriented Sales Executive (B2C) to manage and expand our dealer and distributor network across India. The role involves strengthening existing relationships, appointing new dealers, driving secondary sales, and ensuring consistent brand presence and product availability in key agricultural markets.
Key Responsibilities
Dealer & Distributor Management
- Manage and strengthen the existing dealer and distributor network
- Ensure regular engagement with dealers through calls, visits, and reviews
- Resolve dealer issues related to pricing, supply, schemes, and product understanding
Network Expansion & Market Development
- Identify potential dealers, distributors, and retailers in new territories
- Appoint and onboard new channel partners as per company guidelines
- Develop market entry plans for new regions and states
Sales Execution & Target Achievement
- Drive primary and secondary sales to achieve monthly and quarterly targets
- Ensure product availability and visibility at dealer and retail points
- Support dealers in achieving their sales targets through schemes and promotions
Customer & Market Engagement
- Conduct product demos, dealer meets, and farmer interactions where required
- Gather feedback from dealers, retailers, and end customers
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, dispatches, and payment follow-ups
- Maintain accurate records of dealer-wise sales, outstanding, and inventory
- Prepare regular sales MIS, tour reports, and market feedback reports
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to build and manage dealer relationships
- Field-sales mindset with readiness for extensive travel
- Good planning, follow-up, and reporting discipline
- Basic understanding of agricultural implements and rural markets
- Comfortable working with Excel, WhatsApp, and sales tracking systems
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 37 years of experience in B2C or channel sales, preferably in agri-inputs, implements, tools or forging components
- Existing exposure to dealer/distributor network management
- Understanding of rural markets and seasonal demand patterns
- Willingness to travel extensively across India
- Local language proficiency is a strong advantage
