Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Sales & Estimation Manager HVAC. The role involves identifying and qualifying business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors, and managing the full sales cycle for HVAC and MEP projects. The Sales & Estimation Manager HVAC will review drawings, specifications, and site conditions; prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and techno-commercial proposals; and coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure feasibility and competitiveness. Responsibilities include conducting site visits, participating in client meetings and negotiations, responding to tenders and RFQs, and tracking leads through to order closure. The position also requires monitoring market trends, competitors activities, and pricing, while maintaining accurate sales forecasts, reporting, and CRM documentation to support business growth targets.

Qualifications

  • Strong HVAC technical background with experience in system design concepts, load calculations, equipment selection, and understanding of MEP integration.
  • Demonstrated expertise in estimation, including reading and interpreting drawings and specifications, preparing BOQs, costings, and detailed techno-commercial offers.
  • Proven sales and business development skills in HVAC or MEP projects, including lead generation, client relationship management, and deal negotiation.
  • Experience coordinating with internal engineering, procurement, execution, and service teams to align proposals with project delivery capabilities.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with estimation tools or ERP/CRM systems is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; additional certifications in HVAC, project management, or sales are beneficial.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and presentation skills, with the ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple bids in parallel.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders at multiple levels
