Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for Sales Engineers / Sales Executives based in Ahmedabad. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing the sales cycle from lead generation to order closure, and achieving assigned sales targets for laser marking, cutting, welding, and engraving systems. The position requires conducting technical presentations and product demonstrations, understanding customer applications, and recommending suitable laser solutions in collaboration with the technical team. Responsibilities include preparing proposals and quotations, negotiating commercial terms, and maintaining accurate records of inquiries, visits, and sales activities in CRM tools or reports. The role also involves coordinating with service and technical support teams for smooth installations, training, and after-sales support, as well as maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales Engineering skills, including application understanding and the ability to translate technical requirements into suitable laser solutions.
- Proficiency in Sales and business development, including lead generation, pipeline management, negotiations, and target achievement.
- Experience in Technical Support and coordination with service teams to address customer queries, installation needs, and post-sales issues.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to build trust, deliver clear presentations, and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Production, or related field) or an equivalent technical background.
- Prior experience in capital equipment, industrial machinery, or laser systems sales is an advantage.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory, manage field visits, and work independently with a results-oriented approach.
- Comfort with basic MS Office tools and CRM or reporting systems for documentation and sales tracking.
