About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Engineer with strong technical understanding and operational excellence in storage & racking systems and ergonomic solutions. The role combines solution selling, engineering know-how, and customer-centric execution to deliver efficient material handling and workplace automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and manage sales opportunities for storage & racking systems, ergonomic workstations, and intralogistics solutions
- Understand customer operations and propose optimized layouts and solutions using:
- Modular assembly tables
- Conveyors
- Linear actuators
- Transport cars / AGVs (manual or automated)
- Conduct site visits, requirement analysis, and technical discussions with customers
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, costing, and presentations
- Coordinate with design, engineering, and project teams to ensure solution feasibility and execution excellence
- Support installation, commissioning, and post-sales coordination to ensure operational success
- Achieve sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and solution quality
- Track market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in ergonomic and intralogistics solutions
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of:
- Storage & racking systems
- Ergonomic workstations & assembly modular tables
- Conveyors, actuators, and transport cars
- Ability to translate operational challenges into value-driven engineering solutions
- Sound understanding of manufacturing, warehouse, and assembly line operations
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- High level of operational discipline and execution focus
- Proficiency in MS Office; exposure to CAD/layout tools is a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Industrial (or equivalent)
- Relevant experience in industrial sales, intralogistics, automation, or ergonomic solutions
