We are revolutionizing the stone fabrication industry with cutting-edge software designed to optimize nesting, CNC machining, workflow tracking, and shop floor management. We are looking for a Sales Engineer who speaks two languages: engineering logic and stone shop floor reality.
You will not just sell software—you will translate digital solutions into tangible efficiency for fabricators across India. This is a high-travel, high-impact role for someone who has sweated in a stone shop and sold into the stone industry.
What You'll Do
- Consultative Selling: Demonstrate our fabrication software to shop owners, production managers, and CNC operators across India.
- On-Site Discovery: Travel to stone fabrication shops to analyze current workflows, identify bottlenecks (nesting waste, manual errors, production delays), and map our software as the solution.
- Product Demos: Lead technical product presentations that resonate with both shop floor staff and ownership.
- Relationship Management: Build long-term trust with fabricators—from small gang saw units to large automated facilities.
- Feedback Loop: Communicate real-world shop requirements back to our product and engineering teams.
Who You Are
You have quartz dust on your boots (metaphorically or literally) and a CRM in your pocket. You understand that a CNC doesn't care about your feelings, but the operator does.
Required Qualifications
- Stone Industry Experience: Minimum 2 years working inside a stone fabrication shop (marble, granite, quartz, engineered stone) – as a production supervisor, CNC programmer, template maker, or plant manager.
- Engineering Background: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or related engineering field.
- Sales Experience: Minimum 2 years selling into the stone industry (e.g., tooling, machinery, consumables, adhesives, or software).
- Travel Commitment: Willing and able to travel extensively across India (4–5 days/week; pan-India including Tier 2 & 3 cities).
- Tech Comfortable: Familiarity with CNC nesting software, ERP, or shop management systems is a strong plus.
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Experience with Biesse, CMS, Breton, or SCM CNC controls.
- Existing relationships with stone associations in India (e.g., All India Granites & Stones Association).
What We Offer
- Competitive base salary + uncapped travel-adjusted incentives.
- Company-provided travel & accommodation support.
- Opportunity to digitize one of India's most traditional yet growing manufacturing sectors.
- Fast-growing product with direct impact on customer ROI.
How to Apply
Send your resume with a 1-paragraph note answering:
Which specific stone fabrication process would you fix first with software, and why
Note: Applications without stone shop floor experience will not be considered.
