Sales Engineer / Sr. Sales Engineer

We are looking for a Sales Engineer / Sr. Sales Engineer to drive sales and business growth across Gujarat.

The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial automation, factory automation, electrical switchgear components, controls and automation, with strong technical sales and customer relationship skills.

• Manage direct and distributor-based sales operations across Gujarat.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and drive profitable business growth.
• Develop and expand the distributor and channel partner network.
• Generate new business through customer acquisition and market penetration.
• Build strong relationships with OEMs, consultants, distributors and end users.
• Identify customer requirements and provide technical and commercial solutions.
• Develop solution-based sales involving machinery safety systems, PLCs, automation systems, bus communication networks and control architectures.
• Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, workshops and training sessions.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation → opportunity development → proposal → negotiation → order closure → post-sales support.
• Maintain sales pipeline, forecasting, CRM records and regular sales reports.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing and product developments.
• Coordinate with application engineering, customer support, marketing and operations teams.
• Ensure timely collection of receivables.

• Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Experience: 2–5 years in technical sales / industrial automation / electrical / controls & automation.
• Good understanding of PLC, industrial automation, control systems and automation products.
• Strong sales, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Customer relationship and channel management experience.
• Technical, analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Self-driven, organized and target-oriented.
• CRM and SAP knowledge will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of machinery safety norms and standards will be an added advantage.
