Job Description

ROLE

  • To Generate new business and drive repeat business from existing customers to achieve sales targets
  • To Identify new market opportunities and expand the customer base within the allocated territory
  • To Conduct market research, customer mining, and segmentation to identify potential clients.
  • To Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new regions effectively.
  • To Understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical solutions using the company's products
  • To Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and trials to showcase product capabilities.
  • To Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to position the company's products effectively

Responsibilities

  • Conduct 4-5 customer visits per day, focusing on relevant business segments based on territory allocations.
  • Identify and develop potential business opportunities within the assigned region
  • Gather and submit insights on market trends, competitor strategies, and other relevant industry information to management
  • Provide feedback on customer needs and market demand to support business strategy
  • Ensure Conversion and accountability of materials issued on customer trials.
  • Track trial outcomes and support customers in evaluating product performance
  • Adhering to to the latest price list while communicating pricing details to customers.
  • Prepare and submit daily visit reports and weekly sales review reports as per company policy
  • Capture customer requirements and share them with the sales and customer support teams for quotation preparation
  • Coordinate with back-office teams to ensure smooth order processing, deliveries, and payment follow-ups.
  • Address customer concerns, complaints, and service-related issues promptly
  • Constantly upgrading product knowledge to meet customer applications.
  • Supporting promotional activities of the organisation in their respective territories allocated.
  • Regularly update the sales funnel in SAP, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, prospects, and conversions
  • Recording the customer visit minutes in the SAP
  • Coordinate with the technical team to provide pre-sales and post-sales support to customers
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing queries, concerns, and service requirements
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure smooth execution of orders and timely deliveries
