Role Description The Sales Engineer role at Prama India is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The individual in this role will work closely with customers and the sales team to understand client requirements, propose suitable video security solutions, and provide technical demonstrations and product presentations. Daily tasks include preparing technical proposals, supporting pre-sales activities, and assisting with solution design and configuration. The Sales Engineer will collaborate with technical support to address customer queries, resolve issues, and ensure smooth implementation and after-sales service. This role involves regular customer visits, relationship management, and coordination with internal teams to meet sales targets and deliver high-quality service.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales Engineering and technical solution design skills, with the ability to translate customer needs into optimal video security configurations.
- Experience in Sales and Customer Service, including managing client relationships and supporting the full sales cycle.
- Ability to provide Technical Support, troubleshoot product-related issues, and coordinate with technical teams for timely resolution.
- Excellent Communication skills for presenting solutions, conducting product demonstrations, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, IT, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of video security, surveillance systems, or related technology is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with basic office and presentation tools (e.g., MS Office, CRM systems) and comfort with field-based client interactions.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and travel within the region as required.
