Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and self-driven Sales Engineer to join our growing startup in Qatar's energy and power sector. This role involves managing the complete sales lifecycle—from lead generation to contract closure—while working in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with sales expertise to drive business growth and build lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Execution:
- Drive revenue growth by achieving and exceeding sales targets within the energy and power sector.
- Pipeline Management:
- Manage the end-to-end sales process including RFQs, proposals, negotiations, and contract closure.
- Customer Engagement:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
- Financial Management:
- Ensure timely invoicing, payment follow-ups, and adherence to financial processes.
- Market Intelligence & Strategy:
- Represent the company in the market, gather customer feedback, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in sales within the energy, power, or industrial sector.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong technical understanding of electrical systems and solutions.
- Tools:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Networking:
- Established network and contacts within Qatar's energy sector is highly preferred.
- Communication:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Work Style:
- Highly self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a startup environment.
