What we do

Lucidity is a company that provides an automated NoOps disk auto-scaler for cloud storage across AWS, Azure, and GCP. It addresses over-provisioned block storage by dynamically scaling capacity, increasing disk utilization to around 80% from 25-35%. This results in cost reductions of up to 70% for businesses. Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer( Pre Sales) to join our team and be the technical bridge between Lucidity's solutions and prospective customers and Partners. You will provide technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations and supporting technical evaluations (POCs). SEs also have a voice with the product team to help prioritise features based on input from customers, competitors, and partners. Additionally, you will work with various teams to resolve customer concerns, escalate bug issues, and serve as an ambassador for our brand. This role is targeting majorly US & Europe Customers, hence timing will be according to US East Zone time (4 pm IST to 2 am IST)

This is a high-impact role where you'll combine your technical expertise in cloud infrastructure with customer-facing skills to influence decision-making at some of the world's largest enterprises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the sales team to articulate the overall Lucidity value proposition, vision and strategy to customers
  • Lead technical discovery sessions to understand the customer's cloud environment, challenges, and requirements.
  • Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations, presentations, and POCs tailored to customer use cases.
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs, create technical documentation, and position Lucidity's value proposition effectively.
  • Act as the customer's technical advocate internally, collaborating with product and engineering teams to align solutions.
  • Support the sales cycle end-to-end: from qualification, POCs, and evaluations through to handover for deployment.
  • Stay updated on cloud ecosystem trends, storage innovations, and competitors to provide consultative insights.
  • Have a direct line of communication with the product team to collaborate on feature requests

Must Haves

  • Overall 510 years of experience in Pre-Sales / Solutions Engineering / Customer-Facing Technical Consulting and Support.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with focus on storage, compute, and networking.
  • Hands-on experience in cloud architecture design, cost optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Experienced in systems administrations: Windows or Linux
  • Experience in container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes is good to have.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate technical details into clear business value for CXO-level discussions.
  • Experience running POCs and customer demos with enterprise clients.
  • Strong problem-solving and solutioning mindset.
  • Bonus: Prior experience in SaaS, cloud storage, observability, or infrastructure optimization tools.
