Opportunity

As a Sales Engineer at Hiver, you will play a critical role in driving new business by helping prospects understand how Hiver transforms customer support inside email. You will partner closely with Account Executives to lead the technical side of the sales cycle—from discovery to close—acting as a trusted advisor to prospects.

This is a high-impact, customer-facing role where you'll combine product expertise, business acumen, and storytelling to demonstrate value, solve real support challenges, and accelerate deal velocity.

What will you be working on

  • Own and drive the technical sales cycle alongside Account Executives—from discovery and solutioning to demo, validation, and close
  • Lead technical discovery to understand customer support workflows and tailor solutions accordingly
  • Run compelling, customized demos showcasing Hiver within Gmail and Hiver Omni
  • Translate customer pain points (shared inboxes, SLAs, automation, multi-channel support) into clear, outcome-driven solutions
  • Design and execute POCs to validate use cases and build customer confidence
  • Handle technical objections and guide prospects through evaluation with clarity and credibility
  • Respond to technical queries, RFPs, and security questionnaires
  • Work closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment and relay customer feedback

What are we looking for

  • 4–5 years of experience in Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting
  • Experience working with helpdesk tools like Freshdesk, Zendesk, or similar
  • Good understanding of email-based customer support workflows
  • Ability to manage the technical side of deals independently with an AE
  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Notion, or ClickUp
  • Basic understanding of APIs and integrations
  • Strong communication, demo, and objection-handling skills
