JOB PURPOSE
Develop, maintain, and expand client base for the India EPC market. Contact, liaise, and follow-up with the client starting from vendor registration up to order securement under the guidelines of the Sales Manager and maintain a good working relationship with the clients while representing the image of the company.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop new opportunities with existing and new clients
- Continuous contact with clients to develop and maintain working relationship
- Be aware of new developments in the market and about competitors activities and report the same to the sales manager
- Understand the client needs and be able to provide value proposition commercially
- (and technically if a sales engineer)
- Liaise with the Proposals Department to ensure that all Quotations are submitted on time in accordance with the company policies
- After-sales follow up with the Projects Department to ensure a proper and successful project execution
- After-sales visits to clients to ensure that all requirements related to the project are met to their satisfaction
- Review the sales results with the sales manager on a monthly basis and report action taken to rectify any adverse variances
- Obtain project information and issue weekly sales visit report to the sales manager in order to update and discuss future course of action
Job relevant information (BOUNDARIES & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY)
- The jobholder should have EPC industry knowledge, product knowledge, and sales and negotiation experience.
- Responsible to protect, secure, and maintain the company's image and objectives and its position in the market.
- Capable of maintaining long-term client relationship and be able to communicate and further develop the relationship with key accounts.
- Secure orders in line with the authority matrix given to him/her.
- Prioritize and advise the proposal team on priority of action.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
Required Qualifications:
- Female Candidate preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or above (Engineering degree for sales engineer)
- Native fluency in Hindi, Marathi & English for business communication
- High fluency in English for business communication with FPI global offices and factories
- 2 to 6 years of sales experience
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in the EPC business in one or more of the following sectors
- (Power Plant, Desalination, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas Processing, Industrial Plant, Oil & Gas, Sewer, Irrigation, Water Distribution, Marine & Offshore)
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Hands-on experience in review/comment of contract terms and conditions
