Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Raipur. The Sales Engineer will identify and engage prospective clients in the snack food manufacturing sector, present technical solutions, and demonstrate how Economode's equipment meets specific production needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site visits, preparing proposals and quotations, coordinating product demonstrations, and supporting installation discussions with technical teams. The role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, gathering feedback on equipment performance, and collaborating with internal teams to refine solutions and address client requirements. The Sales Engineer will also track sales activities, prepare reports, and contribute to sales targets and market expansion initiatives.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of food processing or industrial equipment, with the ability to understand machinery specifications and production processes.
• Strong sales and customer relationship skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals in B2B environments.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities, with capacity to explain complex technical concepts in clear, practical terms.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills to assess client needs, propose suitable equipment configurations, and resolve basic technical queries.
• Comfort with fieldwork, including frequent client visits in and around Raipur, and readiness to travel as required.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Food Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
• Prior experience in sales of industrial or food processing equipment is an advantage.
• Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., MS Office) and familiarity with CRM tools is beneficial.
