About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Engineer / Business Development Executive with experience in SPMS, Smart Drivers, and Lighting Solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving B2B sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and managing the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to payment collection.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth for SPMS, Smart Drivers, and Lighting Solutions
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through client visits, cold calling, online research, references, and tenders
- Manage the complete sales cycle including lead generation, technical consultation, negotiation, order closure, and payment follow-up
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CEOs, procurement teams, R&D teams, and key decision-makers
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable lighting and electrical solutions
- Generate additional revenue through cross-selling and upselling
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Coordinate internally with technical and management teams for smooth execution
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in distribution/sales of SPMS / Smart Drivers / Lighting Products
- Strong knowledge of lighting products, electrical components, and technical solutions
- Proven experience in B2B sales / business development
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to build long-term client relationships
- Positive attitude with a target-driven mindset
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure
Preferred Candidate Profile
- B.E / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics
- MBA in Marketing is an added advantage
- Candidates from lighting, electrical, LED driver, or smart solutions industry preferred
