Job Description: Sales Engineer / Associate Manager – Calibration & Test & Measurement Instruments

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic professional with strong technical expertise in calibration systems and test & measurement instrumentation. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with technical and project requirements. This role bridges technical knowledge with business acumen, supporting large infrastructure projects and consultant approvals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Sales & Client Engagement
  • Present and promote calibration and TMI solutions to consultants, contractors, and end clients.
  • Translate complex technical specifications into clear, value‑driven proposals.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, technical clarifications, and compliance discussions.
  • Project & Proposal Management
  • Prepare and submit compliant proposals, ensuring alignment with tender requirements.
  • Support consultant approvals by providing technical documentation, certifications, and compliance reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and avoid price revisions or LD deductions.
  • Business Development
  • Identify new opportunities in infrastructure, utilities, and industrial projects.
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Negotiate terms and close deals while maintaining profitability and compliance.
  • Technical Expertise
  • Possess strong knowledge of calibration standards, uncertainty analysis, and instrumentation principles.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies in TMI.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field).
  • 3–7 years of experience in calibration, instrumentation, or test & measurement sales.
  • Strong technical knowledge with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in handling consultant approvals and compliance documentation is preferred.
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
