Job Title: Sales Engineer

Location: Bangalore Hoskote

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering

Experience Required: 510 Years

Computer Skills: MS Office, ERP Software, Presentation Tools

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Understand customer technical and business requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demos, and solution walkthroughs to prospects and customers.
  • Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and tender-related documents.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary technical point of contact.
  • Conduct customer site visits, technical assessments, and feasibility evaluations.
  • Support execution of sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support lead generation initiatives.
  • Participate in contract negotiations, offering technical expertise.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of company machinery, technology, and solutions.
  • Track competitor activities, market trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product development, and service teams for smooth solution delivery.
  • Provide customer feedback for continuous improvement of products and services.
  • Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and documentation.
  • Maintain CRM records of customer interactions, sales progression, and project milestones.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical understanding of mechanical/industrial systems and processing machinery.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client-engagement skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer requirements, proposals, and project timelines.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
