Sales Engineer – Industrial Automation

Location: Mumbai

Role Description

We are looking for a Sales Engineer with experience in Industrial Automation product sales. The candidate must have prior experience selling automation products such as PLCs, HMIs, SCADA software, Servo Drives, Servo Motors, VFDs, Industrial Networking products, Sensors, or Motion Control systems.

The role involves developing new business, supporting existing customers, preparing techno-commercial offers, and driving order closures for automation projects and digitalization solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate business from OEMs, System Integrators, End Users, and Panel Builders

• Promote Industrial Automation products and solutions

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals

• Conduct customer meetings, technical discussions, and solution presentations

• Coordinate with engineering teams for solution development and project execution

• Achieve assigned sales targets and business growth objectives

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in Industrial Automation products

• Experience working with an Automation Distributor, System Integrator, OEM, or Automation Product Manufacturer

• Proven experience selling one or more of the following:

• PLCs
• HMIs
• SCADA
• Servo Drives & Motors
• VFDs
• Industrial Networking Products
• Sensors & Instrumentation
• Motion Control Solutions

• Strong understanding of industrial automation applications and customer requirements

• Ability to independently handle customer interactions and commercial negotiations
