Responsibilities:
Field Sales & Lead Generation
Identify and generate leads for:
- Industrial & commercial rooftop solar
- Ground-mounted / captive solar projects
- Open Access solar opportunities (where applicable)
Conductfield visits, cold calls, and meetings with:
- Industrial units
- Factories, warehouses, MSMEs
- Landowners, developers, consultants
- Build strong relationships withlocal influencers(consultants, electrical contractors, brokers, industry associations)
B. Client Interaction & Opportunity Management
- Understand client requirements (load profile, space availability, CAPEX/OPEX preference)
- Present company capabilities, past EPC experience, and value proposition
- Coordinate withdesign, engineering, and estimation teamsfor technical inputs
- Support preparation oftechno-commercial proposalsand RFQ responses
- Assist in negotiations and closure under guidance of senior sales leadership
C. Market Development & Expansion Support
- Establish company presence inAurangabad / Marathwada market
- Track local competitors, pricing trends, and policy developments
- Support expansion initiatives linked toGujarat and Open Access projectsthrough local lead sourcing or coordination
- Participate inexhibitions, plant visits, seminars, and networking events
D. Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with internal teams for:
- Site surveys
- Feasibility assessments
- Proposal timelines
- MaintainCRM / lead trackers, sales pipeline, and follow-up schedules
- Submitweekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates
Qualifications:
- Graduate / Diploma inEngineering, Renewable Energy, Electrical, Mechanical, or Commerce
- 23 yearsof field sales experience in Solar EPC / Renewable energy (preferred), or Electrical, power, infrastructure, or industrial project sales
- Prior experience inAurangabad / Marathwada regionis a strong advantage
- Local language proficiency (Marathi mandatory; Hindi & English preferred)
Skills:
- Field sales & B2B business development experience
- Understanding ofsolar EPC business models(CAPEX / RESCO / Open Access at least exposure)
- Ability to explaintechnical concepts in simple commercial terms
- Proposal follow-ups and closure support
- Strong local networking & relationship-building ability
- Self-driven, disciplined, and target-oriented
- Comfortable with extensive field travel
- Professional communication and negotiation skills
- MS Excel & basic CRM usage
- Email communication & reporting
- Basic understanding of solar plant components & terminology
