We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Director SAP Sales (India) to build, lead, and scale our SAP Consulting business in the region.
This is a high-impact leadership role for a seasoned SAP Sales professional who can combine hands-on business development with strategic P&L ownership.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in selling SAP Consulting, SAP Implementation, AMS, RISE with SAP, and BTP solutions. You will be instrumental in establishing the India sales engine starting as an individual contributor and progressively building a high-performing sales and pre-sales organization under your leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the SAP Sales strategy for India in alignment with global business goals.
- Drive end-to-end SAP consulting sales across RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP, SAP BTP, S/4HANA implementations, and AMS engagements.
- Identify, pursue, and close new SAP business opportunities across enterprise and mid-market clients.
- Build strong CXO-level relationships with clients, SAP ecosystem partners, and technology alliances.
- Own revenue, pipeline, and margin targets for the SAP consulting business in India.
- Establish and lead the SAP Sales organization including hiring and mentoring sales executives, pre-sales consultants, and inside sales teams.
- Collaborate with delivery, marketing, and alliance teams to build go-to-market strategies, solution offerings, and client propositions.
- Track and manage the SAP sales funnel, leveraging CRM tools and data-driven insights to improve conversion rates and deal velocity.
- Gradually assume full P&L ownership for the SAP consulting business unit in India.
Desired Profile
- 1218 years of experience in SAP Consulting Sales / SAP Services Sales / Enterprise Sales, with a proven record of quota achievement.
- Deep understanding of SAP ecosystem including RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP, S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and AMS offerings.
- Strong network within the SAP customer and partner community in India and APAC.
- Demonstrated ability to build sales teams, define GTM strategies, and establish operational structures from the ground up.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a blend of hands-on execution and strategic leadership.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills at the CXO level.
