Role Summary:

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying potential leads. This role involves outbound prospecting, engaging with prospects via emails, calls and LinkedIn, and setting up meetings for the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educate, nurture and generate a volume of outbound meetings on set target accounts.
  • Generate Sales Accepted Opportunities for the Account Executives.
  • Research contacts and generate demand through call and email campaigns.
  • Build long-term relationships based on trust and empathy with prospects and qualify leads as sales opportunities.
  • Design and curate personalized, creative emails backed by research snippets and insights to impress and engage prospects.
  • Profile potential prospects based on predetermined criteria.
  • Be acquainted with different sales methodologies.

Qualification and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in an SDR/BDR role
  • Prior experience in B2B SaaS product sales roles preferred.

Key Skills:

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills.
  • Technical Skills: Verifiable track record of success and goal attainment in a sales-oriented role
  • Well-versed in various SaaS offerings and tools in the market.
  • Prior experience in identifying key players, and generating interest through cold discovery calls and email campaigns.
